PWFMC nurse joins Haiti medical team

On Jan. 20, Carol Caudle, an emergency nurse from Providence Willamette Falls, flew to Haiti with five other volunteer medical professionals to support the relief effort. The trip was coordinated by Medical Teams International, a faith-based organization, which sent an initial medical support team within days of the earthquake. Carol joins other physicians and nurses from Medical Teams International, including several from Providence facilities in Portland. They are currently providing medical services at surviving facilities and temporary hospitals in and near Port-au-Prince.
